Instructions for the Lorus Watches

Lorus Watches are part of the Seiko Watch Corporation and feature dress and sports watches for children, women and men in a variety of styles and materials. The Lorus brand was first launched in Europe in 1982 and is now available worldwide in many department stores and jewelry stores. Instructions for Lorus watches depend upon the type of watch in question, including analog or digital styles.

Digital

Press the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch to change between the modes on the watch.

Press and hold the button on the bottom left-hand side of the watch for two seconds until the seconds begin to flash.

Press the button on the top right-hand side of the watch to set the seconds to “00” and press again to set.

Press the button on the top right-hand side of the watch again until the hours flash. Press the button on the bottom right-hand side of the watch to change the hour display. Press the button on the top right-hand side of the watch to set.

Repeat step 4 to set the year, month and day on the watch.

Analog

Pull the small knob on the right-hand side of the watch, also known as the crown, out one click.

Turn the crown until the previous day’s date is displayed.

Pull the crown out one more click. Turn until five minutes ahead of the correct time and then turn back to the correct time.

Push the crown back to the side of the watch. The watch is now set.
