Casio makes the G-Shock watch, which shows the time, day, month and year. The watch also comes with other features such as a backlight, stopwatch and timer. Upon receiving your watch for the first time, you need to remove the plastic protector from the buttons and the display. This allows your watch to turn on, and for you to set it.
Remove the watchband and face protector. This prevents you from using the buttons.
Peel the protecting rubber from the back of the watch.
Wait for the watch to light up and turn on.
Press the “C” button, located on the left side of the watch. Your watch will enter “Timekeeping Mode.”
Press the “A” button on the left side of the watch to change the hour.
The seconds’ digits will then flash. Press the “E” button on the right side of the watch to set the seconds.
Press the “C” button on the left side of the watch to set the day, month and year. Press the “A” (on the left side side of the watch) and “E” (on the right side of the watch) buttons to switch among these modes.
Press and hold “C” (on the left side of the watch) after you've adjusted all of your settings to return to "Timekeeping Mode."
