Drag queen shows are the rave in many major cities throughout the United States. A drag queen is a man who dresses as a woman. He may do so for his own personal reasons or he may be a drag queen performer. Regardless of the circumstances, dressing as a drag queen is all about making a statement. Heavy makeup, dramatic hair and outrageous outfits are necessary if you're going to be a drag queen.

Shave any facial hair. Be careful not to nick yourself.

Apply your favorite moisturizer to your skin and allow it to absorb for approximately 10 minutes.

Apply a primer.

Use a makeup brush, sponge or your fingers to generously apply the foundation to your face.

Apply concealer to the areas that need a little extra help, such as under your eyes or any blemishes.

Apply a loose powder generously.

Use your blush brush and generously apply a bold-colored blush to the apples of your cheeks.

Apply an eye-shadow base to your eyelid and then generously apply a wash of eye shadow over the lid.

Apply a highlighter to your brow bone, then use your angled brush to apply a darker shade in the crease of your eye. Repeat these steps until you achieve your desired look.

Try on the false eyelashes before you apply the adhesive. If they are too long, carefully trim the ends along the spine until they fit your lashes.

Apply the adhesive to the lashes and carefully put them on your eyes. If you have light-colored lashes, apply a thin coat of mascara to create darker lashes.

Line your lips with lip liner. If your lips are small, line them slightly outside the lip line to create fuller lips.

Apply your favorite lipstick. For a glossier look, apply lip gloss on top of the lipstick.

Tip

Choose long and thick false eyelashes for your look. You can even choose glittery eyelashes. Keep an extra set of eyelashes on hand.
