Cut finished Rice Krispies treats into pieces. Use a sharp knife to ensure a smooth and even cut. The Kellogg's website recommends pressing the mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2 pan and cutting into 2-inch squares.
Arrange squares on the bottom of an airtight container. Place a sheet of wax paper on top of the squares. Create another layer of squares on top of the wax paper.
Close the airtight container and make sure it is sealed. Mark the date on a piece of masking tape and stick the tape onto the top of the container.
Place the container of treats in the freezer. They can be frozen for up to six weeks. Let frozen treats stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.
