Having coarse eyebrows is a fact of life for some gals. Ethnicity and genetics play a major role in how soft or coarse your eyebrows turn out. Having coarse eyebrow hair can make your brows appear heavy and can make keeping them groomed a challenge. Although you can't permanently change the texture of your eyebrow hair, you can attempt to soften it with treatment. Once your brows are softer, they can look and feel the way you desire.
Get into the shower. After you've allowed the warm water and steam soften your eyebrow hair -- which usually takes about 5 minutes -- squirt a dime-sized amount of hair conditioner into the palm of your hand.
Place your pointer finger into the conditioner. Apply a thin layer of the conditioner to both of your eyebrows.
Allow the conditioner to soak into your eyebrows for about a minute. Close your eyes, then rinse the conditioner out of your eyebrows with warm water. Stroke your brows with your fingers while rinsing to make sure you remove all of the conditioner.
Repeat this process daily and your brows should become much softer.
