Camouflage the sides of your thighs under loose clothing and wide silhouettes.

Select pants that have wide legs. For casual looks, consider harem pants and jodhpurs. Avoid fitted pants and tapered legs.

Wear A-line skirts and "empire" dresses. Pair full skirts with a twinset or form-fitting top.

Choose jackets and tops that hit above your hipline.

Draw attention away from your hips by wearing decorative tops or accessories around the neckline.

Remember that darker colors are slimming. Whenever possible, select navy, black, dark brown or charcoal gray bottoms.

Tips

  • Good posture enhances every woman's figure. Stand tall with your shoulders back and blades down your back. Keep your chin held high.
