Part and Separate Hair
Starting with clean, dry hair, create a deep side part on the left side of your head using a fine-tooth comb. Separate the front section of your hair (the section should be about 3 to 4 inches deep) from the rest of your hair, pulling it forward. Clip this section to keep it out of the way.

Twist Hair
Separate the remaining hair into two horizontal sections, clipping the top section up and out of the way. With the bottom section, begin twisting your hair tightly in one direction, pulling it up and against the scalp. Clip it in place once you reach the top section of your hair.

Create a Ponytail
Incorporating the end of your hair from the twisted section, brush the top section into a sleek ponytail that sits in the middle of your head. Tie the ponytail with an elastic to secure.

Style the Ponytail
Use your brush to slightly tease the ponytail and give it volume; hold the ponytail straight up by the ends, then gently brush in a downward motion to tousle hair. Once hair is teased, roll the ponytail forward and down until you reach its base, creating a small rolled bun.

Secure and Shape Bun
Use bobby pins to secure the bun to your scalp. Spread the bun out toward the sides of your head until it has a fanned effect, pinning as you go to ensure a tight hold.

Style the Bangs
Unclip the front section of your hair, keeping the deep side part you create in Step 1. Gently tease each side of your hair using the same motion as in Step 3, then smooth hair lightly with your fingers. Starting with the fuller side of your part, sweep strands back and around your head. Pin this section beneath the bun, hiding the ends and pins as best as possible. Repeat on the other side.

Accessorize the Updo
Complete the classic "Breakfast At Tiffany's" look by clipping a jeweled brooch or hair clip in the front center of the bun.

Secure the Look
Finish the entire updo by spraying generously with hairspray to ensure a smooth finish and long-lasting hold.
