Carrie Underwood made her debut as a country music star in 2005 when she was announced the winner of American Idol. Since then, she has been known for her beauty and style. She has had a number of easily achievable hairstyles on and off the red carpet. If you are looking for a new haircut with bangs, try Carrie Underwood’s hairstyle with long side-swept bangs. This style works for most face shapes and hair types.
Things You'll Need
Blow-dry your bangs to the side using a round brush.
Separate the section of hair between the highest tips of your eyebrows. Create a part approximately 1 inch back onto your scalp. Secure the rest of your hair in a ponytail or clip.
Cut your bangs straight across. The length of your bangs should be to the tip of your nose.
Grab and pull your bangs straight down. Starting on the right side of your bangs, cut your hair on an angle downward, making slow and small snips. You should cut approximately 1 inch off the shortest section and a 1/4 inch off the longest.
Grab small sections of your bangs, starting with the shortest section. Soften the edges and shape them by cutting the bottom inch with razor scissors.
Brush your bangs to the left side of your face to complete the look.
Carrie Underwood’s bangs go to the left side of her face. However, you can create this look to the right side of your face by reversing the direction of the instructions.
