Whether you have to head into work fast on a weekday or you have a full weekend planned, sometimes you're just strapped for time to make a decent breakfast. Whip up some hash browns ahead and freeze them for those busy mornings. Here's how to heat them up perfectly every time.

Step 1
Drizzle oil into a skillet over high heat.
Step 2
Place a 1-inch layer of frozen hash browns into the skillet.
Step 3
Leave the heat on high for 5 minutes and let the hash browns simmer untouched.
Step 4
After 5 minutes, flip the hash browns, and let them sit for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
Once they're golden brown on both sides, add a pinch of salt and serve immediately. (You can even take them to go.)
