How To Apply Vitamin E Oil On Cuticles

Vitamin E is a natural moisturizer. It can be used on any part of your skin, including your cuticles. Your cuticles and your nails are at risk for becoming dry and cracked. This can happen as a result of cold dry weather or after having your hands submerged in water too often, such as when you wash dishes or give your kids a bath. The vitamin E oil will keep your cuticles healthy and moist if you use it properly.

Pop a hole in the vitamin E capsule with a pin. Squeeze the capsule so some of the oil starts to come out.

Collect the oil with a small brush.

Brush the oil over the cuticles on your left hand.

Massage the oil over the cuticles with the fingers of your right hand. This will stimulate the circulation of blood in the area, which helps your nails grow.

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 with another vitamin E capsule for the right hand, using your left hand to apply the vitamin E oil and massage it in.

Use this vitamin E cuticle regimen twice per day.

Tips

  • Many cuticle oils are sold that include more than just vitamin E.

  • You also can rub the vitamin E in to your nails.

  • To help prevent cuticle damage, wear gloves when working in the garden. You may even want to wear gloves while doing the dishes to prevent them from drying out.
