Maybelline’s Dream Matte Mousse foundation is a whipped makeup that comes in a decorative jar. The makeup is soft and creamy, but it dries smoothly on your skin, giving you a matte finish. Applying mousse foundation is not much different from using a liquid foundation, except you need to have a light hand and use the product sparingly. With Dream Matte Mousse, it takes less makeup to get the same coverage as a liquid foundation.
Wash your hands thoroughly before applying foundation. Apply moisturizer and primer as usual.
Dot the foundation down the center line of your face vertically, starting at the forehead and working down to the chin. Apply the foundation sparingly, because a little goes a long way.
Blend the makeup outward from the starting line pressing it into the skin as you go. Use a damp makeup sponge or your clean fingers to spread the makeup over your entire face.
Dab extra foundation on trouble areas like age spots or blemishes. Blend so there are no visible makeup lines.
