You would never know that loads of antioxidants and healthy omega-3 fatty acids are overflowing a single serving of this chocolate mousse. It tastes as decadent as traditional chocolate mousse, without any dairy or bad ingredients. It's a great way to trick anyone who has a stigma about healthy foods (i.e. children) to get their daily dose of avocado and raw cacao. It's vegan, gluten-free and totally raw.
Here's how it's done:
*Yields 2-3 servings, stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados, chopped & peeled
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- 1/3 cup agave nectar (you can also sub maple syrup)
- 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor or high-powered blender, make sure there are no leftover avocado chunks!!
- Cover and chill for at least 4 hours before serving
