Chocolate-covered pretzels are a delicious treat, but just as with uncoated pretzels, chocolate covered varieties can quickly become stale. Proper storage or packaging, if you plan on gifting them, will prevent them from spoiling.

Place the chocolate covered pretzels in a glass or plastic container. The container must be clean because the chocolate covered pretzels will absorb odors.

Close the container. Make sure you use an airtight container or the chocolate covered pretzels will go stale faster.

Place the container in a pantry or cupboard. Partially covered pretzels will stay fresh at room temperature or slightly cooler for at least several weeks. Fully covered pretzels stay fresh for several months.
