The Ultimate Night Time Detox Tea

Sipping on hot tea after a long day can be extremely therapeutic. Why not up the nutritional value by adding a few ingredients that will increase your wellness and make you feel amazing in the morning? This is our ultimate, go-to night time tea, here are the benefits:

Ginger:

Boosts your immune system, treats nausea and may lower blood sugar

Turmeric

: Drastically decreases inflammation in the body and is loaded with antioxidants

Cloves:

Reduce inflammation and improve digestion

Chamomile Tea:

Treats nausea and aids in falling asleep quicker

Lemon:

Alkalizes the body by balancing pH levels

Coconut Oil:

Gives you a dose of healthy fats & rev's metabolism while you sleep

Ingredients:

1/2" ginger, chopped 1/2" turmeric, chopped 4-5 whole cloves 1 bag chamomile tea Juice of 1/2 lemon 1 tsp coconut oil Raw honey, to taste + Cheese cloth

Instructions:

  1. On a cheesecloth, add: ginger, turmeric, whole cloves and chamomile tea. Tie together with the chamomile tea string.
  2. Add to pot with 2 cups of water over medium-high heat, let simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Off heat, remove the cheesecloth bag and add: lemon juice, coconut oil and raw honey.
