The Almost Flourless Chocolate Cake

Inspired by our great friend, Nathalie Benezet's new cookbook, 'Le Petit Paris' - we've created the ultimate chocolate cake recipe. It's surprisingly easy, short and sweet. It's a great go-to impressive dessert for date night, or any ordinary night. It's dense, light and fluffy at the same time - what more could you want?!


  • 1 cup of dark chocolate (70% cacao minimum) - 3/4 cup unsalted butter - 1 cup sugar - 4 eggs - 1 tbsp flour - Icing sugar (powdered sugar)


1. Combine dark chocolate with unsalted butter then heat in microwave until melted (about 2 mins) 2. Stir, and slowly add in sugar 3. Add in the eggs, one at a time then the flour 4. Grease cake pan or individual ramekins & sprinkle with flour 5. Pour chocolate mixture 6. Bake at 350 for 20-25 mins, let cool 7. Sprinkle with icing sugar ENJOY!
