Passover or not, we love matzo for multiple reasons… One being the ability to throw toppings on it as you would toast or pizza, think of it as an “elevated cracker.” We teamed up with Sophie Jaffe of Philosophie to share her favorite super food toppings that will leave you satiated and energized. You can really add whatever you have leftover in your kitchen, so get inspired by the flavor profiles below and let us know how yours end up!

On gluten-free matzo, add the following:

  1. Mediterranean Inspired: Spread hummus, sun-dried tomatoes, olives and fresh basil
  2. Grilled Veggie: Sprinkle daiya cheese (or regular if you’re not vegan), grilled veggies like zucchini, and chopped mushroom
  3. Sweet & Savory: Thinly sliced persimmons, dried apricots and cherries, a drizzle of Philosophie Berry Bee Honey, then top with marcona almonds

Warm up the grilled veggie and sweet & savory for about 15-20 minutes in the oven at 300 degrees. ENJOY!
