Edible Flower Salad

Mixed Greens with Edible Flowers & Fleur de Sel - this salad is decadent, light and beautiful - not to mention it's absolutely delicious.


  • 1 shallot, chopped 
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard 
  • 2 tsp champagne vinegar 
  • fennel, shaved 
  • carrots, shaved 
  • watermelon radish, shaved
  • fleur de sel 
  • mixed greens 
  • lemon 
  • edible flowers
  • olive oil  


  1. Place shallot, mustard, salt, champagne vinegar, pepper in bowl
  2.  Whisk to combine 
  3. In bowl, add handful of fennel, carrots and watermelon radish 
  4. Sprinkle fleur de sel 
  5. Massage vegetables into dressing 
  6. Add handful of mixed greens into bowl, drizzle with lemon 
  7.  Toss everything by hand 
  8.  Add a couple of handfuls of edible flowers 
  9. Drizzle olive oil, taste it again, season more if necessary
