These small bites are GREAT for pre or post-workout, containing protein from the nuts and natural sugar from the dates. They’ll leave you satisfied and energized–plus they’re easy to make in the morning to keep for the day ahead. Here’s how it’s done:

Medjool dates
Natural, raw almond butter (or peanut)
Nuts, to top (we used macadamia–almonds or walnuts would work)


  1. Slice the dates lengthwise to remove pit, but don’t cut in half completely
  2. Scoop almond butter and top with nuts
  3. Store in an airtight container to pack for the day!
