These small bites are GREAT for pre or post-workout, containing protein from the nuts and natural sugar from the dates. They'll leave you satisfied and energized--plus they're easy to make in the morning to keep for the day ahead.
Here's how it's done:
Medjool dates Natural, raw almond butter (or peanut) Nuts, to top (we used macadamia--almonds or walnuts would work)
- Slice the dates lengthwise to remove pit, but don't cut in half completely
- Scoop almond butter and top with nuts
- Store in an airtight container to pack for the day!
