We love seeing the change in produce at the farmer’s market from season to season. If you follow us on Instagram, you already know we frequent the markets every week for the freshest and most sustainable food. June is undoubtedly one of our favorite months to cook in. There’s an abundance of stone fruit (such as peaches, plums and apricots), sugar snap peas, english peas, strawberries, watermelon, figs and more. All of the sweet flavors are fun to cook with and create unique sweet/savory combinations (think: Fig & Prosciutto, Watermelon & Feta). We highly recommend picking up ingredients that you might not be comfortable cooking with, and making some of the recipes in the playlist below or experimenting on your own.
