It’s hard to believe it’s November already, but Halloween is now behind us (even though there are remnants of sugar and chocolate everywhere). If you follow us on Instagram you know that we are slightly obsessed with going to the farmer’s market every week. Fresh, seasonal ingredients that are good for the environment and good for your wallet. Why your wallet? Because this produce is so fresh that it lasts almost two times longer than the stuff the supermarkets receive. If you’re not cooking for an entire family, buying produce without it going bad can be tough. We highly recommend visting your weekend market to try and remedy that. Here are some of November’s favorites to look for: Pumpkins, Pomegranates, Potatoes, Cauliflower, Peppers, Apples, Sweet Potato, Brussel Sprouts, Satsuma, Parsnip and Cranberries.
