How To Stay In Shape During The Holidays

We'll be the first to admit that staying in shape during the holiday season is difficult. Even if you live a healthy and balanced life all year long, November and December can be tricky. With Thanksgiving coming up, we decided to share our two cents on looking and feeling good throughout this sugar-and-stuffing-induced time.

  1. First things first, do not let your exercise routine slip through the cracks. Maintaining a steady fitness regime can be the most important factor in not gaining those extra lbs.

  2. Secondly, don't forget to eat breakfast and don't forget to make it healthy! Chances are, you'll be attending events throughout the evening that will be serving some serious party food. It's easier to control yourself at these functions if you know that you already started your day off right with a healthy nutrient-packed meal.

  3. Next up, juice! We're big fans of juicing, it helps keep our diet in check (even if you slip up with a couple chocolate truffles).

  4. Lastly, consider oil pulling. It's linked to aiding the digestive system, and everyone needs a little of that during the stuffing-gravy-pumpkin pie-haze.
