Thanksgiving should be spent around the house with friends and family, not slaving in the kitchen finishing up complicated recipes. These particular recipes are easy to make, and even easier to eat (don’t expect too many leftovers). If you are hosting your first Thanksgiving ever, all of these side dishes will compliment the all-star (Turkey) perfectly.

We took a nod from renowned chef, Suzanne Goin, for the kale and sausage stuffing, and opted for crispy smashed potatoes in lieu of mashed potatoes. Of course we didn’t forget our greens just because it’s Thanksgiving, this kale salad is easy to make in batches and so good. We teamed up with one of the best LA foodies, Aliza Sokolow, for the crowd-favorite: creamy mac and cheese. Recently, we are loving stuffed mushrooms caps for a quick appetizer that in reminiscent of spinach artichoke dip that everyone loves, except healthier. Finish off with a light pumpkin cocktail and enjoy a stress-free night!
