EAT YOUR GREENS! Why? They are filled with phytonutrients, vitamins A, C, K, E, B6 and more… which translates to: healthy cardiovascular system, digestive system, beautiful skin, hair and nails, better eyesight, and even help fighting off infections. Although we’re partial to kale (in the above recipes), you should strive to include a variety of dark leafy greens in your diet. Opt for fresh spinach, swiss chard, collard greens, arugula and of course, kale. The key is the preparation and delivery. You can add 1-2 servings of greens into your smoothie and barely even taste it! It’s easy to add them in to daily dishes like eggs (see above) and substitute potato chips for kale chips (we promise they’re amazing). What’s your favorite way to get your daily dose of greens??
