Organic Root Stimulator Lock & Twist Gel is a hair product made by the Natural Hair Care company. It is made for use primarily on coarse African hair types, although the Lock & Twist Gel can be used to create dreadlocks on less coarse hair. The gel is used as an alternative to beeswax, to hold the hair and to add moisture to the hair follicle. Lock & Twist Gel does not have the sticky side-effects of beeswax, although it can harden with over-application. It washes completely clean with shampoo and water.

Shampoo and condition hair as normal.

Comb hair thoroughly. Scoop out a portion of Lock & Twist Gel with your hand. Apply it to your hair, working it from the scalp through to the ends.

Separate your hair into sections, and twist each section. A hand twist, comb twist or double twist technique can be used with Lock & Twist Gel.

Allow hair to air dry, or sit under a heated dryer until dry.
