Coconut oil has the ability to penetrate the hair shaft and provide extra nourishment. Coconut oil reduces protein loss in hair helping it to remain strong. While relaxing hair makes it soft and manageable, it also makes the hair weaker. Using coconut oil is the perfect compliment for relaxed hair.

Add coconut oil to your hair conditioner to provide extra strength and shine with every wash.

Use coconut oil as a pre-shampoo conditioner if your hair is showing damage. Apply the coconut oil directly to your hair 30 minutes before washing it and let it soak in. Wash and condition as usual.

Use coconut oil as a hot oil treatment to moisturize and repair relaxed hair. Put coconut oil in a small container and run it under hot water. Apply the hot oil to your hair and put on a plastic cap. Wrap your head with a towel to allow the hot oil to penetrate the hair.

Massage a dime size amount of coconut oil to your hair whenever you want extra shine.
