Calluses are the rough and dry scaly parts of your feet, most common along the edges of your heels and along the balls of your toes. To obtain model-pretty feet, give yourself a pedicure. In a few steps, you can remove the calluses and show off your pretty feet.

Things You'll Need

Begin the pedicure by soaking your feet in warm water. Not only does this feel really good, it also softens the skin, making it easier to remove calluses. Soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes.

Apply a callus softener by rubbing it into the rough portions of your foot. You can purchase callus softener at any local drug store or salon.

Wet your pumice stone.

Rub the pumice stone across your foot with a vigorous, circular motion. If you have a heavy buildup of calluses, rinse your feet often by dipping them back into the water. Likewise, rinse the pumice stone to get it wet again and remove the dead skin.

Repeat this process as long as needed to remove all the dry and dead skin from your foot. If this is the first time you’ve done this, you may need to repeat give yourself a pedicure for several days to achieve the desired effect.

Allow your feet to dry thoroughly and apply a quality moisturizing lotion. Repeat this process daily for beautiful, healthy feet.
