An edible lotion is a romantic gift suitable for Valentine's Day, an anniversary or simply treating your loved one to a special and intimate evening together. Making your own edible lotion is both budget friendly and more personal than purchasing one. By making your own lotion, you can customize the taste and texture to your liking. Be sure to choose flavors that your loved one enjoys as well.

Chocolate Lotion

Melt a tablespoon of cocoa butter in a sauce pan on a stove top or in the microwave.

Combine the melted cocoa butter with 2 tablespoons of glycerin and 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder. Mix until combined.

Use the mixture as needed.

Warming Lotion

Choose a flavoring extract for the lotion. This could be a fruity taste like strawberry, a mint flavor or even chocolate, depending on your preference.

Combine 2 ounces of glycerin with 1/2 ounce of corn syrup and a 1/2 teaspoon of the selected flavoring extract.

Mix until well blended.

Spread on the skin as needed.
