T-shirts are relaxed and casual garments with sporty connotations. Bras are garments that signify femininity and sexiness. Making a bra from a T-shirt combines the two. The combination of sexy and casual allows the wearer to relax while still feeling feisty. A bandeau bra made from a T-shirt is a straightforward project that requires no sewing.

Lay the T-shirt out flat on an even surface.

Cut off the bottom hem with scissors.

Make a straight cut across the T-shirt 6 inches from the bottom to cut off a large loop of fabric.

Cut the side of the loop to make a large strip.

Cut another strip from the t-shirt that is 10 inches by 3 inches.

Lay the smaller strip down with the former inside up. Lay the larger strip perpendicularly across the smaller strip, also inside up.

Tie a double knot in the smaller strip around the larger strip.

Center the knot on your chest. Tie it behind your back.
