Keurig coffee-making company prides itself on being the freshest way to prepare coffee, through individually vacuum-sealed packages. Making a latte with your Keurig is simple and requires but a single K-Cup, a saucepan and milk.
Brew one K-cup of dark-roast coffee (both Caribou Coffee's Mahogany Roast or Sumatra Roast work well, and both are available for Keurig). Another great coffee base for the Keurig latte is Green Mountain's espresso blend.
Pour 4 oz. of the brewed coffee into a mug.
Heat 6 oz. of milk in a saucepan on the stove. Reserve 2 oz. of the heated milk to pour into your blender. This creates the foamy froth for the top of the latte.
Pour 4 oz. of heated milk into your coffee cup and stir. Blend 2 oz. of milk in the blender until it's nice and frothy. Pour the foam on top of the latte.
Sweeten and dress your latte as you like. Try cinnamon, nutmeg or cocoa powder on top.
