Because most liquor flasks have small openings, it can be a challenge getting liquor into the actual flask, but there are tools that can make the job much easier. Read on to see how that can be accomplished.
Set the flask on a stable surface. Remove the cap and insert the pointed end of the funnel into the flask opening.
Some flasks come with funnels already. If yours does not have one, you can use a small household funnel for this purpose, or liquor stores and websites usually have funnels that can be purchased separately for under $5.
Uncap the liquor you wish to pour into the flask. Hold the flask with one hand to make sure it does not tip over when you pour. With the other hand, grab the liquor bottle and carefully pour some of its contents into the funnel.
Depending on the type of funnel you have, you may want to stop pouring periodically to check the amount of liquid in the flask. You do not want to overpour and waste your liquor. If you are using a household funnel, the length of the tip is longer, and you will be able to see when the liquor fills the long end.
Flask funnels have shorter stems, so you will have to be a little more careful about not overpouring.
When you have filled the flask, you are done. Now either cap the flask or have yourself a drink.
These steps should only be taken by individuals over the age of 21. It is against the law for minors to consume alcohol. Adults should also be careful to avoid alcohol poisoning or other risks associated with heavy liquor consumption.
