Nowadays, oil is an essential part of a good hair-care routine. From deep conditioning masks to leave-in conditioners, oil treatments undoubtedly give hair a boost, whether you leave them on for 30 minutes or several hours.

Deep Conditioning Treatment

Letting a deep conditioning oil treatment soak into your hair for as little as 30 minutes can improve the look and texture of your locks. But the longer you leave the oil in, the softer and shinier your hair will be. If possible, let a deep conditioning treatment soak in for a whole day or overnight, especially if you have dry or damaged hair.

Leave-In Conditioner

Hair oil can also be used as a leave-in conditioner for styling. Apply a few drops of oil to the hair, avoiding the scalp (unlike with a deep conditioning treatment) so that your head doesn't become greasy. Leave in until your next wash. A small amount goes a long way.
