Traditional skin whitening can be done at an aesthetician's office using harsh chemical treatments. Skin bleaching has potentially dangerous side effects, and can cause severe reactions in those with sensitive skin. You can easily make a skin whitening lotion in your own home, with ingredients found around your kitchen. By leaving the lotion on for a certain time, rinsing it off, and then repeating, you can gradually whiten and brighten your skin without harsh chemicals.
Add 2 tsp. of gram flour to the bowl. You can find gram flour in the ethnic department of most grocery stores, or at any Indian food grocery store. Add the pinch of turmeric.
Add five to 10 drops of lemon juice to the bowl. If your skin is very sensitive, use less lemon juice, as it can irritate sensitive skin. Stir the mixture with the spoon.
Slowly pour in heavy cream, 1 tsp. at a time, stirring as you add it. Continue to add the cream until it is the consistency of a lotion.
Apply the lotion to your face, or anywhere else you want to whiten. Leave it on until your skin is dry to the touch. Rinse the lotion off. You can repeat this daily.
