Homemade Natural Bleaching Cream

Clear, even skin tone is a sign of health and beauty. Many women and men have dark birth marks. Concealer is a form of makeup that you blend into your skin to give the appearance of an even complexion, but some people don't want to apply it every day. It is possible to lighten dark areas using a natural homemade remedy that is safe and cheap compared to manufactured products that have many added chemicals and ingredients.

There are several natural ingredients that can safely lighten the skin. Even natural ingredients, however, can irritate the epidermis if over used, or cause an allergic reaction. Every bleaching cream will work differently for different people because our skin varies in complexion and sensitivity. Try the homemade bleaching recipes on a small area of skin first, wait 24 hours and see if there is an allergic reaction. If there is not, you may apply it more liberally.

Use the homemade creams for 10 minutes, once a day for three or four days. You may slowly begin to leave the solution on for 15 minutes and use it twice a day until desired results are achieved. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Lemon and Cucumber

For this recipe you will need half a lemon, half a cucumber and a pinch of turmeric. Turmeric is a powerful anti-inflammatory spice found in supermarkets. Extract the juice from the lemon and cucumber and put it in a bowl. An easy way to juice a cucumber is to mash it with a mallet or your hands when it is still whole with the skin on. When it is all juicy inside, make a cut in the skin and squeeze the juice out. You can also try grinding the half cucumber on an orange squeezer and cutting the length of the cucumber down as you go. Mix the juices with a pinch of turmeric. Apply to the areas of skin you want to lighten for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water.

Honey and Almond Paste

For this recipe you will need almonds and honey. Soak 1/2 cup (more or less depending on how much you need) of almonds in a bowl of water overnight. Peel the skin off of the almonds and crush them into a paste using a mortar and pestle. Mix an equal part of honey into the almond paste. Apply to your skin and wash off after 10 to 15 minutes.
