If you are suffering from acne, goat's milk soap provides you with a kind of soap that naturally relieves the symptoms of this chronic skin problem. According to soap maker Dorothy Little of Red Roof Llama Farm, goat's milk soap does not contain harsh ingredients such as chemical detergents, like today's modern soaps.

Goat’s Milk Acne Benefits

The natural proteins and lactic acid in goat's milk helps rejuvenate the skin, according to Dr. John Bruhn of UC Davis Food and Science Technology. It has high amounts of fat, iron and vitamins A, B, C and D, establishing the significant skin-healing benefits of goat's milk on acne.

Skin Rejuvenation

Goat's Milk contains lactic acid and alpha hydroxy acid, which promote skin rejuvenation. It helps shed old skin cells, leaving you with smooth new skin cells, with a clean and refreshed feeling.

Antibacterial Benefits

The vitamin content and ideal pH level of goat's milk helps neutralize the effect of bacteria and contaminants, which usually cause skin infections such as acne.

Anti-Inflammatory properties

Goat's milk forms a protective layer (acid mantle) on the skin. This layer effectively neutralizes the effect of the attacks of microbes such as bacteria and viruses and contaminants. This property should help soothe itchy skin and prevent further swelling and redness of acne sites.

Goat's milk soap for acne is made from organic materials. In addition to goat's milk, water, lye, coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, castor oil and other natural oils may be used.

When modern soaps are prone to causing skin dryness, cracking and irritation, goat's milk soap provides an effective natural acne remedy that protects the epidermis of the skin against the usual punishments posed by chemical agents such as detergents on modern soaps.
