We're excited to share another exclusive recipe from Holistic Nutritionist & Cleanse Expert, Elissa Goodman. This "Golden Summer Soup" is detox-friendly and, in fact, perfect for all year round (not just summer!). Soups are a great way to get all of your nutrients in while simultaneously keeping the meal super light and satisfying. "This yummy, creamy soup is full of protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants," says Elissa.

Here's the simple recipe:


  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 10 carrots, peeled & chopped
  • 3 red bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 package 48 oz. organic vegetable broth
  • 2 sweet potatoes, peeled, diced & roasted
  • 1/2 tsp Herbamore seasoning, to taste
  • 1/2 cup cashews, sliced


  1. Over medium heat, add all ingredients except the cashews
  2. Bring to a boil then simmer until tender, about 30 mins
  3. Pour into a blender, add cashews, blend
  4. ENJOY!
