These small bites are some of the best party appetizers we've ever made. Seriously—we ate them all before we could ever take a proper photo! There is an amazing combination of savory and sweet flavors with crunchy and creamy textures. The prosciutto is baked to a perfect crisp and the honey-drizzled-strawberries are extra, maybe, but totally necessary.
Whip these up for a summer soirée or use a regular slice of sourdough bread and make yourself a flatbread! Here's how it's done:
- Baguette, sliced
- Goat cheese
- On a baking sheet (or make-shift piece of tin foil like we did in the video above), place thinly sliced baguette topped with a spoonful of goat cheese. Add small slices of prosciutto to the other side of the baking sheet.
- Bake at 450 for about 8 minutes, take the prosciutto out at the 4 minute mark.
- Top with avocado, crispy prosciutto, thinly sliced strawberries.
- Lightly drizzle honey on top and ENJOY!
