It's our favorite time of the year (summer) and the perfect time to relish in the sunshine with a cocktail, or smoothie, in-hand. And this recipe can be both. Loaded with traditional piña colada ingredients like pineapple, orange and coconut, plus the extra special ingredient (turmeric) for a little dose of wellness and anti-inflammation. For an extra kick, add some rum! Here's how it's done:


  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
  • 1 banana
  • 1 large orange
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (adjust to desired consistency)
  • Ice, optional
