How & WHY To Make Bulletproof Coffee At Home

Bulletproof coffee is trending in the wellness world, and for really good reason. The O.G. Bulletproof (which coined the name for this "fatty" coffee) is opening up shop throughout California, and the products have been introduced to nearly every Whole Foods and health food store throughout the country. After some careful research and about 10 months of doing this every morning on our own—we concur, the benefits are LEGIT.

We came up with a really simple and cost-effective way to do this at home, although we don't discourage going straight to the source for some Brain Octane Oil, if you wish!

Here's how it's done:

Step 1: Brew one cup of your favorite coffee

Step 2: Add 1 tsp of MCT oil. This is a medium-chain fatty acid, known to increase energy, aid with weight management, reduce stored body fat, and improve digestion.

Step 3: Add 1/2 tbsp of ghee. This is rich in vitamins, healthy fats to help boost metabolism, and it's delish. We especially love this Madagascar Vanilla Bean flavor!

Step 4: Blend & ENJOY!
