What is mindfulness? According to the dictionary, it's "a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique."

We are always striving to achieve all of those things--but it doesn't come easily, especially with all of the distractions we are faced with at any given moment. Try incorporating some of these big players in the great path to mindfulness:
