Daily face washing is an important part of any beauty regimen. But when your facial cleanser removes the dirt, sweat and oil that can accumulate on skin, it also disrupts your skin's natural chemical balance. Clarins' line of alcohol-free toning lotions can help restore pH levels for healthier skin.
Available Products
Because Clarins toning lotions are alcohol-free, they are generally gentle on most skin types; as of time of publication, three toning lotions are available. If you have especially sensitive skin, try Clarins' Extra Comfort Toning Lotion, which contains soothing ingredients, such as aloe vera and almond oil. Combination and oily skin may best benefit from Clarins Toning Lotion with Iris, which helps reduce oiliness. For normal or dry skin, Clarins Toning Lotion with Camomile may help soften skin.
Daily Use
Use Clarins toning lotion one to two times a day, after cleansing your face but before applying your moisturizer. For oily and combination skin, concentrate on the T-zone -- your forehead, nose and chin. To apply, pour the lotion onto two cotton balls, fully saturating the cotton with the liquid. Wipe the soaked cotton balls over the face and neck; do not rinse. Be careful not to get the product in your eyes; flush your eyes with cool water if you do.
