Things You'll Need
Mix up a box of brownies using the package instructions. Spray non-stick cooking spray on both sides of the waffle maker, and pour about 1/2 cup of mix into the iron. Close without pushing down, and cook for about 2 minutes or until done.
Get creative with your everyday waffles. Make brown sugar waffles, oatmeal nut, blueberry, strawberry, whole wheat and more.
Make Raisin Waffle French Toast. Mix 3 eggs, 3 tbs. milk, 2 tbs. packed brown sugar and 1/4 tsp. vanilla in a bowl. Dip one slice of raisin bread in the mixture and place in waffle iron sprayed with non-stick spray. Close iron and cook until golden brown.
Grill up a hamburger. Mix your normal ground meat. Spray waffle iron with non-stick spray, and put your burger in the iron. Close without squeezing too tight. Grill the burger for about 5 minutes or until done. When you take it out, you’ll have waffle holes to fill with your favorite condiments.
Go south of the border and make cheese quesadillas. Spray the waffle iron with cooking spray before layering your quesadillas using one flour tortilla, shredded cheese, tomatoes, cooked chicken, onions, peppers and a second tortilla. Close the waffle maker and cook until golden brown.
Prepare an omelet without using a frying pan. Mix your eggs, milk, cheese, ham or whatever ingredients you want in your omelet. Spray the waffle iron with non-stick spray and add the omelet mixture. Close your iron, and cook until golden brown.
Your quesadillas will have instant cutting guidelines from the waffle iron, so there’s no need to argue about who gets the bigger piece.
