How to Use a Biore Pore Strip

By Tracey Brown

When oil and dirt fill up your pores, the result is congestion that can lead to whiteheads, blackheads or blemishes. Simply washing your face is not enough to clear clogged pores. Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips are an affordable, easy-to-use option. They're designed to clear the skin on your nose, where pores tend to become especially clogged. At much less than the cost of a facial, the cleansing strips take the pores from clogged to clear in a few simple steps.

Step 1

Wash your face using a cleanser appropriate for your skin type and be sure to remove all traces of makeup. Dry your face thoroughly.

Step 2

Wet the skin on your nose, then dry your hands.

Step 3

Remove the pore strip from its plastic liner by twisting the strip to loosen and separate the slits. Peel the strip off of the plastic liner.

Step 4

Apply the pore strip to your wet nose with the smooth side down, pressing down to ensure good contact with yourskin. Use your index finger to smooth the strip over the entire nose.

Step 5

Let the pore strip dry for for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it is stiff to the touch like papier-mâché.

Step 6

Peel the strip off of your nose, starting at the edges and slowly pulling toward the center. Rinse off any residue with water, then finish with your usual skin care regimen.
