Wax is meant to remove hair and make candles, not painfully adhere to your skin. If excess wax finds its way to your skin, there are several simple removal methods that won't harm already burned skin.
Warm a bottle of baby oil in a bowl of hot water.
Apply the warm baby oil to a cotton ball.
Smooth the baby oil onto the wax-covered area of skin.
Rub the area in a circular motion with a wet cloth until the wax peels off.
Apply rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball.
Rub the alcohol against the wax-covered area of skin in a gentle, circular motion until the wax dissolves or peels off.
Apply a mild lotion to the area, as rubbing alcohol may cause stinging.
