The Keurig brewing system provides single cups of coffee with the touch of a button. The coffee grounds for the Keurig come in small "K-Cups." Each cup produces one cup of coffee. If you have a brand of coffee that you prefer and it isn't available in the K-Cup line, you can use your Keurig brewer with your own brand of coffee by purchasing the My K-Cup accessory from Keurig.

Remove the K-Cup retainer inside your Keurig brewer. Lift the cover to the brewer, then push from underneath the retainer to lift it out of the top the brewer.

Place the mesh filter of the My K-Cup into the outer cartridge. Add enough coffee grounds of your choice to fill the filter to 1/4 inch from the top, leaving room for the brewer to inject water without difficulty.

Place the cover on the My K-Cup, screwing it into place. Insert the My K-Cup assembly into the K-Cup mount in the reservoir. Close the cover of the Keurig brewer.

Select the brew and cup size as you would with a traditional K-Cup.

Tips

  • Finely ground coffee yields the best results in the My K-Cup filter.
