Tongue Piercing can be a great way to add personal expression to your look. The healing process however, is quite grueling and lengthy unless the mouth is kept extremely clean. You can get your piercing to heal with extra care and ensure a speedy recovery.

Brush your teeth, gently three times a day using a soft bristle tooth brush. This keep the teeth clean and free of irritation causing bacteria that could infect your piercing, and thus delay healing.

Brush the ball and pin of the piercing to remove all debris and plaque. This should be done daily, and will help keep the area sterile to heal.

Rinse the mouth with a medical grade oral rinse. This will sterilize the mouth and thus speed healing.

Clean your hands with germicidal soap before interacting with the piercing. This should be done at every interaction to prevent infection.
