The cocktail consists of a mix of lemon or lime juice, tequila and a little salt on the rim of the glass. If you would like to add a little thrill to your Margarita, you can mix up a frozen swirl Margarita right at home. You just need a few easy-to-find ingredients and you can start passing glasses of this unique drink.

Things You'll Need

Clean your blender with warm water to remove all the dirt prior to mixing your drink. Wipe it dry with paper towels.

Place the blender on a flat surface and pour the 4 oz. of tequila along with the 4 oz. of Mexican controy. Add the freshly squeezed lime juice along with the two other ingredients.

Add crushed ice until the blender is almost full before closing the lid. Shake the ingredients well and turn on the blender for at least 15 seconds.

Check the texture of the drink by scooping a portion with your spoon. The texture should be a little slushy. Blend the drink some more if necessary.

Dip the rim of the Margarita glass in water and slowly swirl it in a dish of salt.

Pour some of the blended drink into the glass and pour an ounce of sangria wine right on top of the drink. Stir it once with your stirrer in order to create the swirl effect.
