The next time your skin is feeling drab and needs a pick-me-up, make a homemade facial mask using sweet-smelling rose petals.
Things You'll Need
Place eight rose petals in a bowl with 4 tablespoons of water. Let them soak for 3 hours. Mash the rose petals and water with the back end of a spoon after soaking.
Add 2 tablespoons of honey, five drops of rose essential oil, 2 tablespoons of milk and 2 tablespoons of almond oil. Mix well with a spoon. Slowly stir in whole wheat flour, a pinch at a time, until the mixture reaches a consistency that will spread easily.
Spread the mixture onto your freshly washed face using your fingers. Avoid getting the mixture into your eyes.
Leave the mask on for 20 minutes. Rinse well with cool water and pat dry with a soft towel.
