Jojoba oil is a liquid that comes from jojoba seeds. The jojoba plant grows in the dry desert areas of the West Coast. Jojoba oil has a waxy and oily consistency but despite its texture, it does not clog pores. Instead, it soothes skin to prevent acne and is a natural pH balancer to improve the quality of your skin. Jojoba oil provides moisture to the skin that is difficult to achieve with any other natural product.

Things You'll Need

How to Apply Jojoba Oil on the Face

Wash face in the morning with warm water and an oil-free cleanser. Pat the face dry with a towel.

Saturate a sterile cotton ball with jojoba oil. Jojoba oil can be purchased at your local health food store or online.

Gently dab your face with jojoba oil, being careful not to saturate your face in it. With your fingers, rub the oil into your skin lightly. If you have used too much, dab the excess off with an additional sterile cotton ball.

Repeat once daily, or as needed, to provide moisture and pH balance to your skin.

Tips

  • Use an oil-free cleanser that includes tea tree oil, if possible.
