Super Pretzels, the doughy knots ubiquitous with baseball games, county fairs and your freezer aisle, come precooked and only need thawed and heated. Super Pretzels comprise basic lean dough, or dough without added fat, and get their chewiness from steam; Super Pretzels are precooked in an oven that keeps the humidity at a constant level throughout baking by releasing steam into the air. Super Pretzels are perfect as is, but you can add melted butter or olive oil and herbs before baking to add a touch of finesse.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Arrange the pretzels face up on a baking sheet, keeping a space of about 1/2 inch between them.

Mist the tops of the pretzels with water from a spray bottle and season them to taste with the supplied coarse salt. You can also brush a thin layer of butter or olive oil instead of water on the pretzels for added color and flavor, if desired. Place the pretzels in the oven.

Bake the pretzels until heated through, about 4 to 5 minutes.

Tip

You can also heat Super Pretzels on High in a microwave for 30 seconds, but the oven produces best results.
