Grapefruit seed extract is made from the seeds, membranes and pulp of the grapefruit. It is powerful antimicrobial--even stronger than colloidal silver, chlorine bleach and isopropyl alcohol--and is also used for its antibacterial, antiseptic and purifying properties. Grapefruit seed extract clears the body of harmful bacteria, viruses, infection and fungi, simultaneously promoting and protecting the immune system. It has the ability to rid the body of parasites as well.


Grapefruit seed extract has an alkalizing effect on the body and is considered one the strongest foods for promoting alkaline in the body. For optimum health, alkaline and acid levels must be balanced in the body, which is referred to as the pH level. Excess acids create oxidation, effectively causing the body decay and become sick. While grapefruit seed extract is very bitter and tastes acidic, it actually has an alkaline effect on the body.
